Fatima Arib

is Professor of Sustainable Development Economics at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech. Holds a PhD in Economics from the University of the Mediterranean, funded by the CNRS – France, a DEA in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the EHESS – France, and several certificates of expertise in Economics of the environment and adaptation to climate change. His main publications focus on sustainable development, the social economy and the economy of the environment and climate change.

An expert and consultant to several organizations and development agencies, she has contributed to research projects in Morocco and Africa, particularly in relation to the green economy. She is a member of the scientific committees of several national and international journals specializing in development.

She is deputy director of the Laboratory “Innovation, Responsibilities and Sustainable Development INREDD” and head of the Master in Applied Economics in Environment and Climate Change at the Faculty of Law, Economic and Social Sciences of Marrakech.

She is the founding director of the African Center for Sustainable Innovative Solutions ACISS, at Cadi Ayyad University, and since February 2020, she is director of National School Of Business and Management- Marrakech (ENCG in French).

She was also in charge of “Sustainable Development and Large Projects” mission to the president of the Cadi Ayyad university.
